Why it works

• Hammock shape, not a flat sheet. It hangs from both headrests, so the footwell is covered too. Your dog can't wedge into the gap or slide into it on a hard stop.
• Two waterproof layers. 600D Oxford face with a water-resistant coating, bonded to a TPU backing. Wet dog, spilled water and muddy paws stay on top of the fabric.
• A 12.9 inch mesh window. You can see your dog. Your dog can see you. That matters on long drives with an anxious passenger.
• Convertible side flaps. Two 18.5 x 14.9 inch panels drop down over your door cards to catch the muddy scramble in and out.
• Non-slip backing and seat anchors. Headrest straps plus seat-crease anchors keep it flat instead of bunching into a ball behind your dog.
• Wipes clean in seconds. Most messes come off with a damp cloth. For the rest, hose it or run it on a cold gentle cycle.

Fitting and care

• Loop the straps over both rear headrests, push the anchors into the seat crease, and tighten. Takes about a minute, no tools.
• Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Machine washable cold on a gentle cycle.
• Air dry only. Do not tumble dry, iron, bleach or dry clean - heat damages the waterproof backing.

Please note

• Your car needs two rear headrests for the hammock straps to anchor to.
• This is a seat cover, not a restraint or a safety device. It is not crash-tested and does not secure your dog in an accident. Use a proper travel restraint as well.
• The hammock covers the bench and footwell. It does not cover the rear doors beyond the flap panels.
• Water-resistant, not submersible. Standing liquid should be wiped up.

Questions people ask

Will it fit my car? If your rear bench is roughly 53 inches across and has two headrests, yes. It fits sedans through full-size trucks.

Can I still use the rear seatbelts? Yes, there are openings for seatbelt buckles.

Can I use it as a flat bench cover instead? Yes. Unclip the hammock panel and it lies flat so people can sit on the seat.

Will my dog's claws go through it? The quilted 600D face resists scratching and puncture from normal paw traffic. It is not claw-proof against determined digging.

Does it smell when it arrives? New coated fabric can have a faint factory smell. Airing it out for a day clears it.
